Announcing Music For The Long Emergency

MFTLEcover_HiRes

We are very happy about the upcoming LP Music for the Long Emergency in collaboration with our friends Poliça from Minneapolis. It all started with a virtual residency after first talks and commitments in the summer of 2015 and brought us to the US for the first time in November 2016 – with two shows thanks to Liquid Music Series of St Paul Chamber Orchestra / Minneapolis.

Music For The Long Emergency will be released on February 16th via Totally Gross National Product and Transgressive Records and you can pre-order it here. Our first single How is this Happening is out now and thanks go out to NPR Music for presenting it first.

We will also return to the US in February 2016, you can find all dates below and follow this link for tickets.

Kaltern Pop 2017

We are back in South Tyrol to go hiking, wine-tasting and to meet these two beauties above! With Erlend Øye we sat under a tree at last year’s Michelberger Music listening to his beautiful songs and ever since then we’ve been planning on meeting up with him again to create some music together.

Daniel Brandt released his first solo album  – Eternal Something – via the Erased Tapes family and the week in Kaltern will kickstart our collaboration with him as we will expand his material with our stargaze line-up – to be continued in London for Spitalfields Music!
